Point to your data. The product passport builds itself.
An AI-powered Product Compliance Platform. It pulls data from your files, emails and systems, structures it for ESPR, EUDR and other regulations and keeps it up to date. You just approve.
An app for companies and institutions...
...that put sustainability and transparency first. A complete toolkit for tracking, managing and optimising the product lifecycle - supporting regulatory compliance and building consumer trust.
How it works
You point and approve. The AI does the rest.
The Instap DPP AI engine pulls data from PDFs, emails, links, spreadsheets, databases and APIs, structures it for the regulation's requirements, builds the passports, publishes them and keeps them up to date. No forms, no retyping and no implementation project.
- 01
Point to your sources
PDFs, emails, links, spreadsheets, ERP and PLM exports, databases or an API - just as they are. Nothing to retype.
- 02
AI structures it for the regulation
The AI recognises products, maps the data to the applicable act (such as an ESPR delegated act), links it to an identifier at model, batch or item level and shows what is missing. You just approve.
- 03
The passport stays current on its own
Published via QR, NFC or GS1 Digital Link, with reminders about deadlines and expiring documents and requests to suppliers for missing data. Blockchain secures data integrity in the background.
Platform architecture
DPP is not the whole system. It is one of the outputs of a trusted product compliance infrastructure.
Point to your data in any form and the regulatory outputs follow. In between, the Instap DPP AI engine collects and structures the data, people only approve, and blockchain secures the evidence in the background.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
If you have other questions, get in touch with us.
What is a Digital Product Passport?
A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a set of data about a specific product, accessible electronically through a data carrier such as a QR code or NFC tag. The delegated act for each product group sets the data scope - typically materials and components, substances of concern, repair and recycling information and compliance documents. A DPP is linked to a persistent unique product identifier at the level the product group requires - model, batch or individual item - and the identifiers go into the EU DPP registry. The passport is built on open, interoperable standards and supports sustainable product management across the value chain.
How safe is my data?
DPP.COM.PL uses blockchain to provide verifiable integrity and timestamping of evidence: any later change to anchored data is detectable. All data is encrypted with enterprise-grade security and access is controlled by authenticated user roles. Your sensitive supply-chain information is protected with high security standards.
Which product categories are supported?
We support every major product category, including electronics, batteries, textiles and apparel, furniture, automotive parts, construction materials, packaging and many more. Our platform is designed to handle any product type that requires sustainability tracking and compliance.
When do I need to comply with DPP rules?
ESPR obligations (the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, EU 2024/1781) apply in stages, through delegated acts for successive product groups. The ESPR working plan names textiles and apparel, furniture, and iron, steel & aluminium among the priority groups. Product-specific delegated acts are expected progressively in 2026-2029, and the exact DPP application date will be defined separately for each group. Batteries, by contrast, are covered by a separate Batteries Regulation (EU 2023/1542): the battery passport becomes mandatory on 18 February 2027. Early preparation gives you a competitive edge and makes the transition smoother.
What is the difference between DPP and EUDR?
DPP covers transparency across a product's entire lifecycle, while EUDR focuses on preventing deforestation in the supply chains of 7 specific commodities (coffee, cocoa, wood, etc.). EUDR is a separate regulatory regime, not part of the DPP. Our platform covers both areas - you can manage DPPs and support the required EUDR processes, data and evidence within one environment.
Where does the platform get its data from?
From what you already have: PDFs, emails, links, spreadsheets, databases and APIs. The platform is also API-ready for integration with ERP, PLM and e-commerce systems, including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Shopify and WooCommerce, as well as repair networks, recycling marketplaces and reporting tools.
How long does implementation take?
There is no classic rollout. You point to your first data sources and the first passports are ready within minutes. Connecting an ERP or PLM via API and collecting supplier data for the whole catalogue happens gradually, in the background - with no IT project or training.
Can I start with just a few products?
Yes! You can begin with a pilot implementation on selected product lines, then gradually expand the scope. This is the ideal approach for companies that want to test the system and build experience before going all in.
What data do I need to provide?
You don't need to tidy it up. Point to what you already have - spec sheets, certificates, supplier declarations, ERP exports, emails. The AI recognises and structures the data for the applicable regulation (for example material composition, substances of concern, origin), shows what is missing and asks suppliers for it.
What if I don't implement DPP on time?
Failing to comply with ESPR can lead to penalties, EU market-access issues and loss of competitive advantage. Companies without DPP may be seen as less transparent by customers and business partners. Early preparation reduces these risks.
What benefits does DPP bring to my customers?
Customers can scan products to access complete lifecycle information, including sustainability metrics, repair instructions and recycling options. This transparency builds trust and helps customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Will I get support in my language?
Yes! We offer full technical and onboarding support in both English and Polish. Our team understands local market specifics and can help tailor the solution to your business needs.
How much does it cost?
The Start plan is free, Pro costs €199 and Business €599 a month; Enterprise is priced individually. See the pricing section for what each plan includes.
Why blockchain, and is it bad for the environment?
Blockchain runs in the background and records only hashes of data and documents, never the data itself, so any later change is detectable. dppPod uses Hyperledger Fabric, which needs no mining, and OpenTimestamps bundles thousands of hashes into a single Bitcoin transaction, so the energy used per document is negligible.
